Bow-wow's tales at the table

Its the penultimate round of the Friday afternoon doop and your 65% game is heading toward average.  You sit West against weaker, but nice, folks and partner opens 1C.  Righty bids 1S and you pass with Jxxx, 9, Qxxxx, Kxx.  Letfy thinks this over, then throws out the RED CARD!  The Police are called, but the director has to retrieve her manual for this one.  She says that any legal call may be substituted, but my Righty is barred for life.  Lefty changes to Pass, then partner bids 1NT on A10xx, K10xx, AK, 10xx.  I might have raised, but we hadn't discussed this auction.
Riighty is about to lead when the director was asked(illegally, by the author) about lead penalties.  It was decided that declarer could direct what suit he wanted led.  Of course he asked for a heart. The Ace of hearts flops and I put down my entire dummy.  Now I see Lefty putting the 10xxx of diamonds as if her partner is declarer.  I try to stop her from exposing more penalty cards by saying "Hey, we can only have one dummy!"
Lefty now accuses me of being nasty, maybe that they are not as smart as me.   Partner won the second heart, cashed the AK of diamonds, led a small spade... requiring pitch of the blocking diamond.  Making two, but now this sweet person is in tears.  No amount of explaining about only one dummy helps.  In fact, I began to think I was guilty of a Freudian sleep.
